I don’t use any drivers with my TactX mouse other than the native Windows drivers. Gaming Software and Graphics Cards. Just a heads up. I also don’t use the Logitech software with my wireless G mouse. Is there a way around this stupid way of installing it? The mouse is a rebranded Logitech G9x and from what I understand the Logitech software works the same as the TactX software except it doesn’t have any Alienware branding.

Took me a while to figure it out. What I need is only the Mouse CI and nothing else. I use the buttons for basic shooter functions and to change DPI and that’s about it.
Anyone knows how to install the Mouse Drivers without the Command Center? The problem is, the driver on the installation CD installs some ancient Command Center version, then when I come to install Command Center v3. Danishblunt Nov 27, I have never bothered trying it because I have no use for it. There are also game-specific profiles for the G that likely require the software be installed, which I don’t really have an interest in using.
Now if I try to run the Command Center, it fails with some weird error message. Does anyone own a GLVS?

It might be necessary for advanced button configuration, but I don’t use button mapping and never bothered to investigate that. I don’t know where to find updates for my mouse driver as there are many Alienware Mice. I don’t know why in the world does my Mouse Drivers install the Logitech Bluetooth Service as I see it added to my startup entries when it is a wired mouse?
