I think you’re right about the driver but is that all I’d have to install to be able to access the internet, right now I can’t and am using a second computer. The response was to go to Dell driver support and download all the drivers in the proper order but would you have to install all or can I just install the network drivers. Hey thanks cotroller providing the detail on the drivers “flavallee” I installed them and now have the computer up and running with internet. It appears most drivers have been installed except for the “Other Devices” so bottom line is I can’t connect to the internet.
The chipset, graphics, audio, ethernet, and modem if one is present are usually the only drivers that need to be installed for a desktop. This site is completely free — paid for by advertisers and donations.
