I would hope that they roll back the last update. Have you tried it in other computer? You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. Did this solve your problem? I called Dell support and they walked me through uninstalling of all the docking station drivers and then reinstalling.

My computer is running Windows 8 bit. DisplayLink who provide the USB video technology in this product have a knowledgebase article linking to the latest host controller driver versions, and this could solve the issue. What step did you try to locate the driver?
There are only 3 things to do: When I try to scan for their drivers from within the device manager, nothing is found.

No change for the Dynadock v3. Just open the properties of the internal LAN card and choose the “Authentication” tab settings. So far, so good.
This thread is locked. I returned a Targus USB3 docking station because of the etherneg issue and am now thinking that this might be a Windows 7 issue. Both do not work.

An error message pops up regarding ethefnet “unexpected error in the batch file”. However, there are two yellow exclamation marks in the device manager: I tried to locate Ethernet and audio drivers on the CD that came with the U3. Toshiba, you really need to look into this, the whole point of a Dynadock is gone when you have to manually connect audio and RJ45 eynadock each time.
I googled the issue and found many posts on different forums, always with the same answer.
Can you install Dynadock components separately? I am in the same situation as the op. It seems to be pretty clearly a driver issue. And restart the computer. The yellow mark could be because of possible corruption of drivers.
This could be due to the USB 3. Nonetheless tried to re-install the driver from CD, but it recognizes that there is already an up-to-date version installed.
